Family Photography in Spring

Oh doesn’t it feel good to be seeing Spring arrive again? I know it’s been a right old year hasn’t it, being a wedding photographer also, it has certainly felt very tough at times. I am so happy I managed to capture some families in 2020 but 2021 is already set to be a super busy year for Spring family photography shoots and I for one cannot wait!

So I thought I would post a little update to those of you who might be new here, I am Sophie and I capture families and newborns in the most relaxed way that I can! I will always aim to get the ‘mantlepiece’ shot but my true focus lies on making sure I get those special moments that are often fleeting. The ones where you try and grab your phone quickly whilst your little one pulls that face, or takes those first few steps. Just call me a photography ninja, I specialise in making sure the beautiful moments that make up our children’s personalities are captured forever.

I’m incredibly lucky to have a wonderful supporting cast of repeat families who book me year on year, and I am super excited to meet some new members in the coming months! If you have suddenly witnessed your little ones growing faster during lockdown than you ever imagined, then now is the time to make some memories! Family shoots will be permitted outdoors from 29th March, and I have plenty of availability in April and May currently before it gets busier in Summer.
