What a poppet! The absolute BEST time spent with these two glorious people and their adorable little girl, Lyla. Also my new favourite girl’s name ever. I took a trip to the fabulous Horniman Museum which was local to Lyla’s home and what a morning we had! The spitting image of her Dad, this adorable little one giggled and smiled throughout our shoot. Totally obsessed with these photos and cannot wait to see her Mum and Dad again next year for more!

Family Session – Z&K

Relaxed Family session at home

Being asked back to capture more memories is hands down my favourite part about doing family sessions. I first met Mum and Dad when little Zara was a tiny newborn, and to see her so grown up cradling little Kit was so, so sweet. I met this lovely family as they’re friends with previous wedding clients of mine, Elaine & James. It is always such an honour being asked to capture families via recommendation, something I will always treasure. As you can see I only used a few areas of this family’s home – the beauty of newborns is you need to get in close, so all I need is one or two windows or a sofa or bed! This is why I offer newborns all year round, as we can always make magic no matter the location/space available.

Demi & Dexter – Painshill Park

Painshill Park Family Session

I’m not sure why it had taken me so long to head back to this dream of a place (just down the road from me!) with one of my families. It may be a simple walk round a lake but it is SUCH a beautiful one! It’s the perfect length to do within the session time, lots of variety for backdrops and great fun for kids to run and play too – perfect!

Lucky old me got to see this lovely family once more, having photographed Mum and Dad’s pre-wedding shoot, wedding and their daughter Demi’s first birthday photos. We waited til springtime for Dexter to have his session so we could make the most of the outdoors. I think we can all agree this the coolest family on record and both kids are insanely adorable. Demi’s hair might just be my favourite. SO pretty and cute, I couldn’t really cope! Here are some previews from our lovely little walk around Painshill.
