Frensham Ponds Family Photography

For Theo’s third birthday, we headed to the wonderful Frensham Ponds and were SO lucky with the weather it was like being on the beach in Summer! Somehow we get lucky every year with little Theo, another little boy I’ve photographed since birth, the sun always shines on our sessions together.

Parents Katie and Mike thought a balloon would add to the fun and it definitely did! It was a windy day and Theo loved chasing after the ‘3’ balloon and generally running around showing us what an active little soul he’s grown into!

I absolutely love photographing this family, not only is Theo gorgeous he is full of mischief too and capturing his little expressions makes my day each time.

Frensham Great Ponds is a brilliant place for family photography sessions, there is so much to explore and the beach is gorgeously clean. Here are some of my favourites from our time there in March last year!

George – Newborn Photography

Surrey Newborn Photography

Would you look at this little guy?! I first met George as a bump! He was making himself cosy at a lovely wedding I photographed in July and it here that I met his gorgeous and lovely parents, Holly and Rob. I was really touched when Holly messaged asking me for a newborn photography session with this little man after seeing the photographs from the wedding. It was a total pleasure to capture this little one’s first few days in the world! Now they say, never work with children or animals, well seeing that I LOVE animals and have done over 100 family sessions to date, I’d say that we handled this session with George and their lovely pooch rather well.

I prefer to keep my newborn sessions as natural as possible, with a few individual shots of the baby and minimal props. I do however LOVE it when the parents ask to use things they’ve been gifted too, such as George’s ridiculously cute bear ears hat and his stripy bow-tie! <3 TOO CUTE.
It was such a lovely session and he was so well behaved. I can’t wait for the next one! Here are some of my favourites! x
