Theo 4 years – Family Photography

Frensham Little Ponds Family photography

Once again I was asked to photograph gorgeous little Theo for his fourth birthday celebrations! Where does the time go!!?

We must be blessed because this shoot takes place in March each year, and each year we get incredible sunshine so what better place to do the shoot than the great outdoors once again! This time we headed to Frensham Little Ponds as we’d been to the Great Ponds for Theo’s third birthday. This little chap has certainly grown some legs! Theo had a blast running around the heathland, scrambling up trees, messing about in dens before stopping for a few cuddles with Mum. We found a spot of water to have a dip in before Theo decided lobbing sand globs at me was the most fun part of the session 😉

It’s always a total pleasure shooting these guys, and a session I look forward to every Spring, bring on the next one!! xxx

Imo, Harry & Sophie

Frensham Great Ponds family photography

Hurrah! I am always SO excited to receive an email from my previous families! And this time was no exception, hearing that gorgeous little Sophie (great name :)) had arrived to join the absolutely brilliant Imogen and Harry as a new sister I just couldn’t wait to photograph them all. We headed to one of my favourite locations for family photography, the amazing Frensham Great Ponds. What’s so amazing about this area is it has an actual beach! And only down the road is Frensham Little Ponds which is another lovely wooded option for those explorers among children, where I also encourage shoots as there is so much variety.

So we had the awesome and spirited Harry, leading the way in wellies, as well as big sister Imogen happy to join in the water fun not to mention tree climbing escapades.

What I love most is getting parents involved, I have lost count of the number of times I’ve heard ‘Oh I don’t want to be in them, just photograph the children’ – I’m sorry but this is one thing I insist on! It’s SO important for you to be in these memories. Being able to capture a family naturally is exactly what I am all about. And I’m so pleased when my parents listen and get stuck in to just having an afternoon off and play with their kids.

I LOVE this family so much, and really hope to be able to continue photographing them as their little loves grow up. Here are a few of my favourites from our windy day by the water 🙂 xxx

Isobel & Jessica – Family Photography

Newborn and sibling photography – Surrey

I’ve known Kate for about 25 years (which makes me feel obscenely old!) and I’ve been lucky enough to photograph her gorgeous family a few times now, so it was a total privilege to be invited to capture Kate and Andy’s gorgeous second daughter Isobel too.

I cannot believe how grown up and sweet older sister Jessica is! It’s obvious she totally adores her new little sister, and despite it being in the depths of December, we still managed a few outside in their garden with that gorgeous Wintery sunshine.

Such special memories and moments to be able to capture, I especially love the last one of Isobel looking up at her Dad, oh to be so small and full of hope and wonder again! Here are a few snippets from our session. Looking forward to the next! xx
