Reigate birthday session

Another day, another beautiful family to capture! I actually had two sessions today, but first on the list were these three. I photographed the lovely Lolly & James’ wedding a few years ago and I couldn’t wait to meet their little girl Demi. James got in touch as a surprise for Lolly, to book a session in for Demi’s first birthday. As you will see, this family are a little bit cool in the style stakes, and Demi is no exception. Who doesn’t want to wear a crown on their birthday?! I loved the balloons too, it’s always a great touch and keeps the little ones happy. A beautiful session exploring lovely Reigate’s parklands. A quiet family session at home

Being asked to capture a family in the newest stages of life is always an honour. But this session was a little bit more special. Gorgeous little Wilfred had a slightly rocky start in life and being asked to photograph them once they were home and safe, made me appreciate just how precious life is. Meeting Erin was also up there as one of my highlights of 2019, WHAT a little treasure she is. We had so much fun playing whilst Wilfred was fed and cared for, I almost forgot I was at work! It really was the most joyful session, with the calmest and loveliest atmosphere. Here are a few of my favourite previews from the day <3

Happiness with Heidi!

This girl! And her folks, well I sure hope I get to capture these three more and more as time goes on because I love them! You have probably seen a post with little Heidi as a newborn, well here she is toddling around being adorable as ever. We went to one of my favourite spots, Frensham Little Ponds, for our shoot and it was just wonderful. We’d had to postpone the session a few times, and I’m so pleased we waited because the weather turned out beautifully. For sessions in high Summer the light can often be a little too bright, but the beauty of this place made it easy with plenty of shade and textures. As ever, this stunning family were a complete breeze and joy to photograph, and I can’t wait for the next one! Here are some previews from today 🙂 x
